The Grey Bruce Pet Hospital opened its doors in July 1987 to provide progressive, quality, companion animal health care with up-to-date facilities, medical technology and staff training in a warm and caring environment. Ten years later we became one of a limited number of American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) accredited facilities in Ontario. As an AAHA hospital member, we adhere to their rigid requirements for quality medical care as well as participate in comprehensive inspections.
Our services and staff have grown to include three full time veterinarians and ten support staff. In 2005 we expanded our floor space by opening the Bradbury House location right around the corner from the main hospital. We offer a diverse range of services which include conventional medical diagnostics & therapy, oncology, dentistry, surgery, rehabilitation and Low Level Laser as well as complementary acupuncture, chiropractic and Chinese herbal medicine. In addition, we provide specialized services that include PennHIP certification, Frozen Semen collection and storage and VetStem surgery. The recent addition of digital radiology and ultrasound allows our doctors access to telemedical diagnostic services from a wide range of veterinary specialists without having to leave home. However, the team at the Grey Bruce Pet Hospital want to emphasize our continued commitment to preventative health care so that you and your ‘best friend’ will enjoy years together of quality companionship.
