Kim W., ACA

Customer Service Representative / ACA
Kim has 2 loves outside of family and has been blessed to have worked in both, animals and the elderly.

She graduated from the Animal Care Aide program in 1995 with honours and has experience working in a mixed practice and animal welfare.

She left the field to be with her family and returned to school, earning honours in the Personal Support Worker program. After working for many years in long term care, an injury caused her to leave that field. An amazing opportunity to return to the animal care field presented itself at GBPH and she jumped at the opportunity to be a team member. Who wouldn’t want to spend their days with furry friends and doggy kisses!

Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family (including 2 amazingly adorable grandsons)and friends, whether it be watching baseball, going on outdoor excursions, concerts or a campfire, she tries to make the most of every moment. They share their home with Bentley, a golden retriever, Gracie, a Maltese cross and Zoey, a Netherland dwarf rabbit.

Kim’s bucket list includes visiting Greece and living in Newfoundland, even if it’s part time!
